Privacy at a Glance
Personal data is any data with which you can be personally identified. When you use this website, various personal data is collected – for example when you write to us via the contact form.
The data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find their contact details in the “Responsible Party” section of this privacy policy. We process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions and only to the extent necessary.
Legal Basis for Processing
Where you have consented to processing, we process your data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR or § 25 (1) TDDDG, insofar as the consent covers the storage of or access to information on your device. Any consent you have given can be revoked at any time.
Where your data is required for the performance of a contract or for pre-contractual measures, we process it on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Otherwise, processing is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), for instance to provide the website securely and without disruption.
Storage Duration
Unless a more specific storage period is stated within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for processing it no longer applies. If you assert a justified request for deletion or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted, provided we have no other legally permissible reasons for storing it (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law).
Your Rights
You have the right to receive free information about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data at any time (Art. 15 GDPR). You also have the right to request the correction (Art. 16 GDPR) or deletion (Art. 17 GDPR) of this data, as well as the restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR).
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract handed over in a common, machine-readable format (data portability, Art. 20 GDPR). You can contact us at any time regarding this and any other questions on the subject of data protection.
Revocation of Your Consent
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at any time. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out up to the point of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right to Object
If your data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you have the right to object to this processing at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). We will then no longer process the affected data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms.
Right to Lodge a Complaint
In the event of breaches of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged breach. This right to complain exists without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.
SSL / TLS Encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://”. When encryption is active, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device and cause no harm. Necessary cookies are technically required for the website to function (e.g. to store your language and consent preferences) and are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Cookies that are not technically required – for example to analyze usage behavior – are only set with your consent. You give this consent via our cookie banner and can revoke or adjust it at any time via the cookie settings at the bottom of the page.
Server Log Files
The provider of these pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits to us automatically. These are: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of the server request and the IP address.
This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; the website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and security of its website.
Contact Form
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the form, including the contact data you provide there (name, email address and optionally company and phone number), will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of the inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Cloudflare Turnstile
To protect our contact form against abusive automated use and spam, we use the Cloudflare Turnstile service provided by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Turnstile checks whether an entry is made by a human or by a machine and analyzes various technical characteristics of your device and your behavior for this purpose.
Storage and analysis take place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web offerings from abusive automated spying and from spam. You can find further information in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Google Analytics
This website uses – exclusively after your consent – functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics enables us to analyze the behavior of website visitors and to improve our offering.
Use is based exclusively on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG. The analytics tool is only loaded after you have agreed to the “Analytics” category in our cookie banner. You can revoke your consent at any time via the cookie settings at the bottom of the page. Insofar as personal data is transferred to the USA, Google relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
